This ongoing series is an exploration of my time living in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. In the beginning it was paradise, swimming in pristine waters, hiking in ancient rain forests, it quickly devolved. Hostile rednecks, murderous animals, car crashes, sinking boats, poisoned wells. It was as if the Valley itself wanted me gone….
